Payment Policy

Restart uses PayFast, a licensed South African payment gateway, to process card payments and Instant EFT. When you pay with PayFast, you are redirected to PayFast's secure payment page to enter your details — Restart never sees or stores your full card number, expiry date or CVV. PayFast supports Visa, Mastercard, Instant EFT and other locally supported payment methods.

We also accept direct manual EFT payment to our business bank account. Orders paid by manual EFT are only processed and dispatched once payment has cleared and reflected in our account — please email proof of payment to sales@restartauto.co.za to help us confirm and dispatch your order promptly.

All card payments are handled by PayFast on infrastructure that is PCI-DSS compliant — the security standard required of anyone processing card payments. Restart's own website uses HTTPS encryption throughout checkout, and we do not store card details on our servers at any point.

We reserve the right to verify a payment or the identity of the person placing an order before dispatch, particularly for high-value or Special-Order items. This may include requesting confirmation of billing details, a matching delivery address, or additional identification. Orders showing signs of fraudulent activity will be delayed, cancelled and refunded as appropriate, and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

All prices and payments on the Website are in South African Rand (ZAR).

Restart is not currently a registered VAT vendor with SARS, so no VAT is charged and no VAT number appears on invoices.

Once your payment is successfully processed (via PayFast) or reflects in our account (via EFT), you will receive an order confirmation by email, SMS or WhatsApp. This confirms we have received your payment and are preparing your order — see our Shipping & Delivery Policy for what happens next.
